APPLICABILITY: These Terms and Conditions govern all commercial dryer vent cleaning, exhaust system maintenance, and inspection services provided by Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC to the client ("Customer").
1. Scope of Work & Professional Standards
Services: Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC agrees to provide commercial dryer vent and/or exhaust cleaning, maintenance, and inspection services as specifically outlined in the associated estimate, proposal, or work order.
Industry Compliance: All services are performed with the intent to align with standard commercial fire safety practices and manufacturer guidelines. However, cleaning and inspection do not constitute a structural engineering certification or a formal fire code compliance guarantee by local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) such as the Springfield Fire Department.
2. Customer Responsibilities & Access
Site Access: Customer shall provide clear, safe, and uninterrupted access to all commercial laundry equipment, rooftop units, chases, and entire exhaust duct runs during scheduled service hours.
Inaccessible Ductwork: If portions of the exhaust system are concealed behind walls, ceilings, roofs, or structural elements without safe access panels, Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC will clean and inspect only accessible sections. Additional charges may apply if access panels must be installed or if specialized equipment is required.

3. Limitation of Liability & Pre-Existing Conditions
Wear and Tear: Commercial exhaust and dryer vent systems—particularly older or neglected networks—may suffer from pre-existing corrosion, degraded joint seals, faulty brackets, or brittle materials. Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC is not liable for structural failures, detachment, or damage resulting from the normal application of cleaning tools to compromised materials.
Exclusion of Consequential Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by Missouri law, Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business revenue, operational downtime, or property damage arising out of or connected to the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Maximum Liability: In any event, the total liability of Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC for any claim arising from or related to the services provided shall be strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by the Customer for the specific service invoice in question.
4. Service Warranties & Limitations
Workmanship Guarantee: Ozark Dryer Exhaust Services, LLC provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on cleaning services. If a localized re-clog or service deficiency directly attributable to our workmanship occurs within this period, we will return to address it at no additional charge.
Exclusions: Warranties are void if the system is subjected to heavy lint buildup from improper commercial laundry usage, unapproved venting materials, or external structural obstructions occurring after the service date.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Site Delays
Cancellation Window: Commercial appointments must be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
Trip / Delay Fees: If our technicians arrive at the Springfield-area job site and are unable to access the property, or if the project is delayed due to unprepared conditions, a standard trip or waiting fee of $50 may be billed to the Customer.
6. Payment Terms
Invoicing: Payment terms for commercial accounts are Due upon receipt, as specified in the commercial agreement or invoice.
Late Fees: Overdue balances are subject to a late charge of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by Missouri law, whichever is lower. Customer agrees to cover all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees incurred in delinquent accounts.
